Foggy Ride Today!

Ok, just had to do it.....rode 39 miles in the f-o-g today!! Cruising in 6th gear down the freeway dodging cars...air horn got a workout. Noticed with the stock seat I'm closer to the tank than with the Sundowner seat on my '09. Anyway, new trike is no longer a virgin

Glad someone in Idaho could ride today. I hope it wasn't to cold with the fog. We only got to about 37* here today. The road in front of my place is still under a few inches of snow and ice. hope you get to ride more soon.

Good job Barb! I would have gone with ya but I couldnt even get outta my subdivision without splashin' thru a lotta crappy ice, snow, and liquid snow melt. Just couldnt bring myself to do it!! My TG is all clean and shiny!!...Hope you didnt get too much crap on that brand new Trike!!!

Need to head west on your next ride if you can get out of the snow. Steve (one of those Honda trike riders) and I rode 300 miles on Thursday leaving cloudy Portland and riding to The Dalles and then south. Snow in shady areas but none on road. Some gravel from sanding but the trikes didn't notice. Are you doing the Hells Canyon ride this year? I do the rides after everyone has gone home but this year I think I'll go to see what all the fuss is about.

We ride up to Hells Canyon several times every summer...but not during the Hells Canyon Ride.. Too crowded for me. I can be at the East entrance in less than 2 hours from my home, then run over to Baker City Or, then back to Boise. We usually ride up to the 2nd dam where the road ends, as it is a spectacular vista to behold. A lotta people don't realize that this is the deepest canyon in North America...even deeper than the Grand Canyon, and ride thru here without seeing it,,,,they are missing out! Anytime any members here are passing thru, contact me and we will try and go up there with you. It is an easy 6 hour loop from Boise if you are on your way to Portland on I-84.

Bev is planning a ride to Tombstone Az. in a couple of months. Should be very pleasant weather and a fun ride, you can break in that beautiful scoot. If all goes well, there will be 3 of us (trikists)

Sometimes I miss the Treasure Valley but not the fog, snow and icy roads.
I've been over here for 10 years but still compare the weather and climate.
