The wife can't attend (elderly friend placed in assisted living/rehab) so I plan on leaving Saturday, 15th. Weather shows hot, last year friends wanted it a two day trip to avoid afternoon travel in the heat.</div>

Hey Nancy, y'all might pass us along the way. We are leaving San Angelo Saturday morning and taking two days to do the trip. We'll stop for the night somewhere in OK. We are also taking the same route you mentioned but not traveling quite as quickly I'm sure.. Big RVs and trailers don't get much gas mileage but even worse at higher speeds!!! RATS.<br />
