Ok so i had the 6 degree rake from Bazooka and i feels great. Now my only problem is that the headlight shines to high, any trick in lowering the beam downward. Is there an adjustment screw or what can I do??:Shrug:

Kewlmetal actually sells a part to put under the headlight to bring it down, but I just forced mine...a bit. Not sure if you can get that part anywhere else or not.:Shrug:

I'm confused. Since triking mine, my oil pan will not fit under the engine. That means adding the 4.5 rake kit lowered my front or making my headlights lower. I haven't ridden at night to say for sure, but the front end is lower.

The VTX 1300 has four screws in the bottom of the headlight. The screws at the 5&7 oclock positions adjust the light up or down. My advice is that you go online, and access the headlight housing for the VTX1300-diagrams always help.

The light housing itself can only be adjusted down so far, and adjusting the inner light doesn't bring it down far enough...and in my case,...so it was either buy the new bracket, (as advertised by the company that built the triple trees) or slightly bend the light housing down, just a bit more. As far as lowering the trike by putting on a different rake triple tree- I installed a 6 degree triple tree...it lowered the bike too far, so I needed to also put 2 inch extensions to the fork tops to bring the frame back up, close to where it should have been naturally.
