Batwing Fairing with a 6 Degree Rake Kit?

I would like any information that would help us decide it a Batwing Fairing will work on my 2006 Honda VTX 1300C with a Motor Trike Kit and it has a 6 Degree Rake. We wrote to a company and asked if the fairing kit will work with the 6 degree rake and their reply was "I don't know we never had that question asked before" Just want to do all the research needed first before we spend the money and find out it won't work. Thanks for any help.

I have no knowledge on the VTX's. But a friend mounted a Memphis Shades batwing on his Valkyrie w/6* rake. He did add some extensions to the top mounts to make it fit.

I don't think the batwing fairing would be an issue. The only thing is that it would be tilted back, at a slightly different angle over the stock application. I'm betting a retailer of the fairing would know for sure, or Zook, he knows everything!

Might check out Woody's Fairings. Quality product and good guy to deal with. Easy person to talk to. One of the pictures on his web site shows a trike with 6 degree rake with his fairing on it.

I just had a rake kit from Zook installed on my VTX 1300 trike and i have a memphis shades fairing. i did have to make some brackets to fit on the top screw to tilt the fairing back up.

I haven't had any fitment problems with my 6 degree rakes on the batwing fairings I have installed and Ive done a bunch of them over the years. On one 8 degree rake install I had to shim the headlight bracket to get enough downward adjustment, but its not a tough fix either way.
