Front Fender Flap

Does anybody know of a front fender flap? Seems to me like a flap on the front fender would maybe keep some of the rocks from hitting the rear fender.
Anybody have any ideas?

I see Capitan Itch also sells them Mud Flaps, his leather goods are top notch. I have several regular belts and gun belts from him, he's the only place I buy my belts.

I was looking for a way to stop mud from covering/blocking the oil cooler [11 T/G]
I ride a lot on a dirt/mud road, And the cooler gets covered something awful from the front tire . I think those flaps just might work.

Here is mine, Capt'n Itch made it for me from a pattern I sent them. It does stop the mud on the oil cooler, but I doubt it does much for rocks on the rear fenders, however at 10K my rear fenders are not chipped so who knows may be it does help.

Sportsters aren't immune. A week ago, I bought / installed a front fender extension for $40 + shipping on eBay (Fenda Extenda, Extender Fenders, Motorcycle Fender Extenders by Pyramid. It's a little pricey for a piece of plastic and two pieces of double-sided tape, but I hope to cut down on stones, tar, mud, and stains on my front cylinder and fins. It extends 6 inches down from the bottom of the fender.

The first photo is my current front fender on my Sportster XL / Lehman Raider. The second and third pics are of a similar front fender on my FXST Softail with the new extension installed.

Yep, that's what mine mine looks after a ride in the mud.
As a side note, looks like your guardian bell is starting to rub though the oil line.

It protects you from harm while riding. Only problem is that you have to recieve one as a gift, or it don't work!

It was, I relocated it to my new GL1800. The person who owns the trike now needs to find their own.

Hey Mike & Mike.....which one did you put on the TG...went to couple web sites mention above...thought most looked kind of funky....fringe/studs/bling/emblems/etc. and way overpriced!

Ya need to look at one on the bike. It has a completely different look. Be sure to get one that has enough length to be effective to block things from the cooler while moving in the wind. Some of the sellers will custom make one of your design also. So communicate with them & make your own changes.
If ya just want cheap there are some on EBay for about $12...........

I thought my timberwolfs flaps were reasonable priced due to the quality of the leather and craftmanship. You can call him and he will make what you want without all the fringes etc,,
