Dropped the bike off on Saturday, the adventure kit should be underway. I was tired of holding the bike up when riding 2 up. I'm just hoping to hang around and learn what I can about trike riding.

Welcome from Michigan. The weather is starting to break and by the time you get your trike it should be good to ride. Don't be afraid to ask questions, there is a wealth of knowledge and everyone is willing share.
Welcome to Trike Talk from Central VA.
Welcome! We've got a number of great Ohioans here, and we are delighted you have joined us!
Expect an adjustment period of 300-500 miles or so when you get the trike. Because you have been riding on 2 wheels, you will still want to lean the bike and counter steer; but with three wheels solidly on the ground, that does not work at all! You will be learning to steer the front wheel through the curves instead. Are you getting a rake kit put on? That will make a huge difference with ease of steering!

Thanks for the greetings. I forgot to mention that the bike is a 2012 comfort and nav. Goldwing. I had back surgery a few years ago and the muscle just isn't the same. I've dropped the wife a few times and she says it doesn't bother her, but it does bother me. I still have a few Harley's to ride for myself, I just hope I remember to put my feet down.
Welcome from the Great State of Texas! Hope you're planning on coming with lotsa other Ohioans to our annual rally, this June, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas!
Need to check out the rally. The trike builder just called, it should be ready to pick up tomorrow, I am excited.

Welcome aboard motoblue. ask questions we will answer. you will love a trike. After the getting used to period and getting over 3 wheels you will love it. Been on 3 wheels now for 4 years 45 years before that on 2 and just love the feeling of not worring about dropping the bike at the stop because of the knees.

Welcome to TT - glad you found us. I recently had the MT Phoenix (similar to your Adventure but sized for 1500 dimensions) added to mine and, so far, it's terrific. Take a little time getting used to it, maybe a little "parking lot" practice, keep your feet up, and don't forget the extra width when pulling up to the gas pumps or similar.
Let us know how your doing, post often, have fun, ride safe.

We're glad to have you join us Motoblue. The large majority of us switched to 3 wheels for similiar reasons. Don't be afraid to ask questions since that is the best part of this board.

Welcome to Trike Talk from Southeast Missouri.
Welcome from the U P of Michigan. I hope you enjoy riding a trike as much as we do, but give yourself a little adjustment time, especially when getting close to fuel pumps, those yellow posts seem to jump right out at you. Ride safe.
