Hello all - I've got a 2012 TriGlide and I'd like to switch out my pipes.
I'm not set on any brand yet- but I'd like to see what's most popular among my fellow trikers.
Thanks!!!

We have Rush Slip-ons on the '09 and Reinhardt on the '11. Both make the trike a bit louder with a deeper note, but not too loud where people don't want to ride behind you. Happy Triking.

Had the good fortune to meet a fellow rider in a Subway restaurant this afternoon. His 110"er has V&H Monster Rounds on it and those are the mufflers I was plannin on buyin. We talked for a while then he left. After hearin the deep rumble those mufflers had, those are definately the ones I'm gonna put on our trike.

If the sound isn't loud enough with those you can take the fiberglass packing off the baffle & get more. I haven't found a replacement baffle for mine, but I really like them just the way they are. I don't think V&H makes one for them. Just a repack kit.
Yours won't be as loud if you have a smaller engine, but you'll like em !

I've got Vance & Hines monster ovals with quiet inserts. Makes for a very stereo friendly sound.
If your going from a cat infested stock HD head pipe to something without the cat you'll be surprised at the difference. That cat acts like a pre muffler, HD has even come out with some louder mufflers to compensate for it. One muffler HD came out with or shall I say reintroduced is the Screamin Eagle Thunder Street Performance Mufflers PN 65115-10. These mufflers were taken off the market back in late 2005 due to HD agreeing to only sell EPA legal mufflers, these mufflers used to carry PN 65115-98b and were pretty loud. They have reintroduced them and state they are 50 state legal for MY 10 and later and 09 and later California touring. If you was to install them on a 09 without the cat or any cat less head pipe it would have quite the rumble, especially once they get some miles on them and the packing burns out some.

I have Pythons on my Roadking trike, with punched out baffles. They are actually way to freakin loud-people can here me comin a mile away...which come to think of it... ain't entirely a bad idea!!
i put Vance and Hines True Duals with rush slip on's runs great and sounds the same.
I have rush headers, and rienhart 3.5's on mine. Like the idle sound, and they Dow bark at ya if you get on it.
I have Fuel Moto's Ceramic Head Pipe and their 3.5 Jackpot Dyno Tuned Mufflers. I love the sound, but to be honest I haven't had them on the road much due to winter weather.
