OK, looks like Champion will fit a longer exhaust from their photos. Not as cool looking a kit, but we will see what they say tomorrow when I call. I found two shorter 2into1 exhausts from Hacker and BUB that I hope will fit. I really like the look of the mystery designs ISS but they are proud of that thing and they also suggest V&H shorts.
Here is what I know.
For Frankenstein on a Dyna If you measure 8” back from the pivot point of the swing arm. The swing arm is 13 ¼” wide. So if the exhaust goes back that far you would need at least ¼” to ½” clearance. The exhaust could not be closer than 7 ¼” from the center of the trike. If there is a bracket holding the back of the exhaust, you need to make sure that it does not hit anything. All that said its got to be low and offset a little. 8" from the pivot point is where the break line saddle clamp is on my swing arm a few inches before the lower shock mount. Hacker and BUB make a short 2-1 with 98db baffles that look to fit but I would be gun shy to spend $650 to see if it fits.

The Champion kit fits stock Dyna exhaust so there are probably more options. Especially a full length 2-1 like I want. All the noise out the back
Mystery did not have a ton of advice on exhaust for the iss kit other than V&H shorts or Big radius.
Their suggestion was look at pictures, " You will just need to look for something that sits low enough to go below the suspension." No kidding ! I am looking into the straight axle on a mystery just for price since this is a commuter bike. The ISS is sweet but they are proud of it.
All in all, while I want bigger tires on the back like Frankenstein or Mystery the champion is a bargain $1000 cheaper and they match the paint. And while 3" wider rims/tires would be cool, I bet I can do that later. My current V&H mufflers will fit until I save for a 2-1. Now I just need some cash.
Out the back would probably be quietest. Something that curves/points to the ground would be next. The V&H Short Shots that are sold by Frankenstein will blacken/discolor your rear axel as they point straight at it.I had those previously.
I now use V&H BigRadius which is not the style you indicated you wanted.
My current rides, all modified in some way.

I have a 1991 FLTC with Frankenstein kit. Can anyone tell me if Dyna exhaust will fit my FLTC. Am I correct that a Dyna is rubber mount and trans bolts to engine like a touring harley. Seems like the pipes would fit and maybe minor modification (or none) on frame mount toward rear of pipes. I want to get rid of my Frankenstein exhaust, I do not like it. Thanks!!
I am looking at the hacker war header or Medusa. I think the 9" muffler will fit but would prefer the 12" turn out or down Medusa. If they ever figure out this sequestration business I will but one and see.
