Ran into same problem one time. Our trip won the toss.We enjoyed it very much.
Don't put off til tomorrow what you want to do today, you only go around one time.
Y'all have a safe & great trip.
Ok, so since January, I have
slowly put together a trike trip to Yellowstone
and Sturgis for this summer.
Yesterday, the wife informs me that
her nephew is getting married in the
middle of the proposed trip.
Since she didnt buy the part when I said
I would call from Yellowstone and wish them
all the best. (I told her I would leave her home
so she could go to the wedding)
A fast reshuffle of things got done
last night.
Yellowstone is still on, only in July
and Sturgis is iffy 50/50 at the moment.

I agree with the Rev, and it slips by fast.....ENJOY
WOW what a problem, because I would say you need to go to both locations the riding is fantastic.

You can always watch the video of the wedding.
Leave her home....Enjoy your trip.
FRR, you are a brave soul to say that. A dog house is not a very good place to sleep in when the temperatures are 0 F outside.
You sound like Bikerbozo, and no wonder he is in trouble all the time with Diane!

I agree with Skuuter....Weddings are a dime a dozen and there is a 50% chance they will be divorced in a coupla years anyway. Bring 'em back a moose antler hat from the gift shop at Old Faithful Lodge and tell 'em what a great two week trip you had and thanx for understanding why I didnt come to your boring, unbearable, 3 hour wedding.

Hi..My name is Trent and I am a Chromaholic.
Was song out years ago titled "My Inlaws Made An Outlaw Out Of Me"
Don't let that happen!..............hehe
OH Dear, Sounds like the dog house for you!! Reminds me why I am staying single now, lol
She'll be crying Alimony, you've been warned.
Hey, how did I get dragged into this? Not denying its not true, mind you. And 0'F outdoors sleeping? Done that, been there. I remember a canoe trip once. Had to break the ice to get out on the lake, then dig out room for tent from snow.
Tell the nephew you have non-refundable room for Sturgis and you promise to make the divorce party.
Tell the wife you're going on the ride and that she should remember the part of her vows "for better or worse" and to get over it - it's just a nephew anyway. Then toss her $50 and tell her to go buy a nice dress for the wedding. pepper
Take the trip! While I can't speak for Yellowstone, I can tell you Sturgis is a blast, and the Black Hills are a sight to behold!
You may not get another chance...

BB, that's the whole idea, that's why I said $50
My wife couldn't even buy a t-shirt for $50.
"inlaws for sale---cheap"
DO YOU TAKE TRADE-IN'S ???
Remember--It is never the issue but rather how we react to the issue is the issue.

There is an old country western song that may apply to your situation:
"My Inlaws Made An Outlaw Out Of Me"
Be careful.
The Black Hills are a great ride. Yellowstone to the Black Hills (Beartooth pass, yeah!) is a great ride. Do them both without Sturgis and you will remember the rides forever.
