I guess nobody has answer to my problem
Is there a short somewhere, maybe just something loose? Mine were doing that at 1st but it was easily fixed it was just a loose connection. Sorry that no one else responded. I am not going to Wing Ding, I own a Harley.
Ok thanks

The wing has a circuit under the dash , if water gets into it you may have to reboot to get all your funtions back , this has happend two times on my Navi pack 2010
how do you reboot
Sounds like maybe if it is an automatically resetting breaker that is being tripped from overload. Might need bigger breaker for wherever power is being tapped....or that timer thing sounds good also.
here is the wiring diagram. Hope that helps. I don't see any self resetting anythings but connections can sure cause problems. I you can get your hands on a shop manual they have good trouble shooting procedures in there.<br />

I have an 06 Wing and had a problem with the grips not working....I think maybe if the grips don't work the seat may not either...problems with grips are not uncommon...shop replaced mine with some aftermarket heated grips that look really nice and use OEM controller and I have not had any more problems and am quite happy...but....I dunno!
I have an 08 Goldwing and exact same think happened just this past winter. Both grips and seat quit. They would both come on, then go off. I took seat off and unplugged the connector for the seat, plugged it back in firmly, problem solved. No more problems since. Dan
the 08 has a controller located behind the left saddlebag. I replaced it after checking the connectors under the seat. The 75$ controller fixed mine.
