Carry in New Mexico

Can I carry open or concealed if I have a Utah license going thru New Mexico on Monday with my trike..Hisst

It will depend on your home state. Go to USCCA and look at their reciprocity map. This should answer your question.

I don't know how everybody else feels....but when I am traveling long distance, I am packin! Regardless of state law or consequence. I do have a CCW in Utah, but refuse to ride distances without a gun. Local riding, I may not always carry because I know my turf.

</div>I know it is serious in some states, but if I ever did ride to Mass or NY...I would still pack. Guess I should avoid those states.<br />
I am curious who does not carry when riding places they are unfamiliar with??<br />
Also, I have been pulled over in 3 different states, and have never been searched. If it is just a routine violation, you should have no problem.

You don't need a license to open carry in New Mexico. You just can't conceal carry because NM don't have reciprocity with Utah any more. Just ensure the firearm is fully visible.

Me too, I caarying at lease three, one shotgu in the trunk, eight shot of 00 buck, one 1911 .45ACP and Glock 27 inside, I also have Idaho CWL, Utah CCW and Arizona CWP so I can carry in Nevada,
