</div>Google it and you will find several choices at different prices with various features. The one that I just ordered (Rivco) may or may not meet your needs. Good luck.
I picked up some reflective tape at Lowes that should be ideal to make a cooler rack stand out. The package contains 4 6" strips (two red and 2 silver). I will place the two red strips on the back 16" wide lip of the Rivco aluminum rack and one of the silver strips on each 11" side. The cost was about $5. Just a thought...
i just ordered one of the rivco cooler racks from niehaus cycle sales. i like the way once you remove the ball it stays attached for quick set up and release. has that chrome look also. now i need to get some of that dot reflective tape.
thanks, vance in ga.
I made a reciever hitch rack for a cooler, also have used it as a package rack on our 1500.
Got myself to Lowe's and bought a 4' piece of 1 1/4" outside diameter square tube, some 1/8" X 1" flat stock and that 1/8" steel angle iron with the holes in it. Made a frame that fits the bottom of the cooler, braced it corner to corner in an X pattern with 1/8" flat stock (length depends on your cooler size). I don't have a welder, so I used bolts for the corners. Got it situated where I wanted it and used a set of those square U bolts to attach the platform to the drawbar tube, drilled the hole in the drawbar for the hitch pin I had around and painted the thing black. The cooler is held on with 2 bungee cords connected to the holes in the angle iron front to back over the top of the cooler. Works like a charm, the cooler is very secure with tight bungees. Only problem I can see is that the licence plate is covered by the cooler, but haven't had any problem since I made the thing last winter.
Here is a link to one by Rivco - I didn't use the expanded steel screen for the bottom (I'm thinking of changing mine to the screen for a package rack) and mine cost about 1/4 the price.
