Special needs n00b

Hi I'm Gavin from Australia and firstly sorry if this is a longer intro.

I rode bone stock for 10 years because I didn't have the skills to do my own mods and really liked say streetfighters style and then had given up for 10 now as I became sick and didn't like the idea of riding with the conditions i had.

Well now Ive just got sick of not doing what I love so i was looking for someone to design/build me a special bike that I was able to get pre-approval to design and show to my State roads authority for build approval to help me ride successfully. That bike I wanted to be a leaning quadricycle, not one of those crap scooter jobbies, a real life size litre+ bike. Cubes count!!

So my bike will hopefully be a trike +1 in the wheel department but something that you could make with just the front end as a trike anyway.

Lets just see what happens!

Thanks all I think I have found the right builder, even to the point where i may even invest in the company 50/50 to form a partnership to build the bike I am after and sponsor other bike builds as standard products or aftersales to companies wanting to build a trike in their bike line anywhere from the ig manufacturers like Victory by Polaris the special bike builders like the size of OCC which are big enough to have a range of standard built aftermarket Harley bikes to specialised companies that build bikes especially for the special needs market.

News and then designs especially when they come to hand and a build thread on a couple of bikes for people to see the goings on. Maybe if I'm lucky enough to make the dollars back quickly to make a sponsorship of the site!

I cant figure out how to paste the picture to this message but you may look into who makes the conversions for the shriner trikes.<br />
I seen a Harley with the front end triked when i was looking at ebay motors motorcycle section.<br />
It even had a front end that looked like a rolls royce or some such,<br />
The bike was for sale.

SXSMachine, welcome to Trike Talk. Sounds like your idea is doable. They do build a quadcycle, but I do not know if it will lean into turns and etc. If it is feasible, I sure someone can build it. Good luck on your search.

Ive read a lot on leaning trikes and I guess its a fairly new technology that people have been aiming for so the number of "one horse" companies is phenomenal and they seem to last 6 months at a time so I'll definately be looking at the longevity of a business in getting a bike built.

I have some time today so time to shop the site!!
