Need some "Make a Wish" Help?

I am writing to you all in sort of a wish for a little help, I need a “Make a Wish” deal for me! I’m a 58-year-old Vet Nam vet on disability, not a Vet Nam disabled vet, and there is a difference!

I had to sell my 2000 Yamaha V-Star 1100 last Summer as I just couldn’t ride it anymore comfortably, my back made it hard to keep my balance, especially with a passenger on board.

Just the other day I was diagnosed with lung cancer, but am not about to give up riding! Not sure what’s going to happen with that, but I’m not giving up serving my fallen vets as I am an active member of the Minnesota Patriot Guard! During the summer, I stand in front of Gate 2 and present honors to all civilians and vets and they pass through the gate as they prepare to lay the diseased vet to rest, standing at attention with my American Flag in hand while saluting!

Since I am now, and have been on disability for the last 3 years, this “standing” is getting a little tougher!

Now that I have no motorcycle, and still want to continue honoring and presenting respects to those who pass through Gate 2 on a daily basis, I am seriously looking for a reasonability priced VW powered trike to get me there everyday!

I’m not looking for a show bike, just something that can get the wife and me to the gate when we need to be there. We also stand with the Patriot Guard at other times when needed.

Like I said at the beginning, I’m only making “disability” money, just over a grand a month, so don’t have a bankroll to shell out. Any help will be greatly appreciated! This is sorta what I am looking for…

Sorry, Jack. Didn't mean to offend, but the bike in your link was around the same money and you failed to mention what financing options you may or may not have at your disposal.

I would look on eBay, they have a bunch of bargain vw trikes consistently. Unless you can find something in your local area, you will have to pay shipping....even if you find a really cheap deal. Best of luck. Honestly, you will probably have to save up a little...because vw trikes under 5 K usually need work or are junk looking.
