Repairs when traveling.

I am a new owner of a Stallion but I have a question only fellow Stallion owners can answer. I plan on taking my Stallion cross country. If it should break down or need repairs far from home would I have a problem getting it fixed at a Ford dealer ?

We drove ours to California a couple of years ago. We needed a small fix in New Mexico. The first Ford dealer we went to was backed up and had no interest. He sent us down the road about 30 miles and the next one was just great. The biggest challenge is getting them to understand it's not under a Ford warranty but a Thoroughbred warranty. Their pride gets in the way and they don't want to talk to the service guys at Thoroughbred but it would make it a lot smoother if they would. We also took it for a follow up when we got to Calif. Same situation. Good luck.
My local Ford dealer and I have it down to a system now.

Good luck! A couple of months ago mine had problems when I was visiting daughter in Houston. I called closest Ford dealership and was told they couldn't even look at mine for two days.

</div>Why doesn't someone who has a copy of the letter just scan it and attach it to this thread. Then we all could have it when needed. Just a thought. Ours is way out of warrantee so I would take it to the closest auto repair unless it is more of a trike part issue vs drive train.

Is this the letter you're referring to? View attachment Stallion - Ford Motor Ltr.pdf.zip Had to compress file, as it exceeded that allowed for attachment.
