Sounds like this is one place I'm going to have to visit. But I really miss the food pictures Skuuter.
On the way back from riding around Eureka Springs with TRIKE TALK.com Member, Ozarkryder, Mitzie and I made a Detour down Hwy 22 to Shiloh, Tennessee...Yes, the same Shiloh where the Battle of Shiloh was fought during the Civil War. There is a Really Famous Catfish Restaurant right on the Tennessee River named The Catfish House...
It has carried the "reputation" for being the "World's Best Catfish" for decades. It has tough competition all around it, since right up the road is Savanah, Tennessee, the Catfish Capital of the World with no shortage of Fried Catfish on lotsa' corners. I honestly will have to say I enjoyed this Whole, Fried Catfish more than any I've had...that's saying a lot...!!!...Homemade Hush Puppies, Homemade Cole Slaw, etc., and a really resonable price of "All-You-Can-Eat" for $13.95 + Beverage and Tax. Here are some Pics from outside (no, I didn't get food pics). We arrived right at opening time, and got right in. Before we left, there were large crowds waiting to be seated, and we met a virtual "parade" of Cars, Trucks, Bikes, and Trikes heading down the 2 mile twisty road to get there.
It has a History dating back before the Civil War....search Catfish Hotel for more History. It sits right on the Tennessee River at Pittsburg Landing. Here are some Pics.....
Take Hwy 64, then Hwy 22 turns off between Adamsville (Home of Buford Pusser, and the Walking Tall Museum and Home) and Savanah....You'll see the Catfish Hotel sign on Your left, turn and follow the twisty road...it will end at the Restaurant.....

Wow - sounds like "my kind of place". Too bad I rarely get to that "part of the world". Glad you had a nice outing!

Thanks for sharing those photos, as I am sitting here in work, now wishing I was eating Catfish in Tennessee!! I was waiting for the pictures of the food that you always send.......missed the pidctures
Had been on the road about 8 hours + when we arrived, so I forgot and left the camera in the Miata...by the time I thought about it, I was about "2 catfish deep" into the meal....I'll shape up in the future Folks.....
