Help...is this a good deal?

Hi... hate to bother you guys, but I have a pending deal and wanted to know if it's a good one. It's a 2005 Honda Goldwing, with a Champion conversion, probably done around that time. The conversion is solid axel, and only extras I see are a tow bar, trunk carpet, chrome wheel trim and fender bras.
It has easy steer. Accessories on the bike include driver back rest, passenger arm rests, driver foot boards, with heel-toe shifter. The is some tasteful chrome trim and a lighted spoiler on the tail trunk.
Only am/fm intercom. No CD or mp3 hookup.

Bike is well-taken care of..no blemishes and it runs and rides well.

The bike has 11,300 miles.

Bottom price they are willing to take is $20,000.

Should I keep looking or is this as good as it gets.

If the bike is in good mechanical condition ( MHO ) is that it's a good deal.

I believe the trike sounds like a decent deal. Have you taken it for a test ride and seen the maintenance records? If both of those pan out I believe you will have a trike that you can be proud of. Keep in mind the straight axil will ride a little rougher then the independent suspension axial, but if you are ok with how it handles during your test ride then go for it.12k is not broken in as far as wear and tear. There's not a lot of maintenance records, since not a lot of miles. He had it in the shop one time because a ground cable on the trike kit had worked loose and was causing problems. Other than that, just normal maintenance.
The engine ran smooth and trike handle well, as far as I can tell. Very new to the world of trikes.

From the information you've posted, it does sound like a good deal.

See if the seller would be willing for you to have your own mechanic/shop go over the trike as well.

Guess you are in the park, this one isn't even triked? Guess I am getting old, too much money out there. $20,000 for what you are looking at is a good deal. I paid $16,000 for a 96 Aspencade with a brand new motor trike kit. So you look real good to me..

That's good to know...We were about $1,000 apart in negotiations. I know...not a lot of difference. So that has been suspended for a bit. Meantime, I started looking at the Can-Am Spyder RT, touring version. Took it for a test ride and liked the way it handled .. more than the GoldWing trike. But, boy is it pricey. Then after research, seems there have been problems with them and the gas mileage sucks as well as the amount of gas it holds.
Really makes my head hurt...Lucky I have my two-wheel VTX1800 for some throttle therapy.

Update on the trike: We reached an agreement on price and the owner was nice enough to drive it over through city and interstate traffic. The amount of time I have spent on a trike can be measured in minutes, so he offered to bring it over. Should be here in 1/2 an hour.

Thanks to all who offered advice and opinions. I'll probably be asking for more info as I get used to the new ride and start upgrading and doing maintenance.

Sounds good but do some research for the book values! You may beable to get it lower showing lower values to the people! It sounds good to me! Check!!
