Who say you need a high lift cam to make power!!
My guy who is doing my heads for my 124" has put his cam software to work and came up with his designed cams with a .510 lift bolt in cam using stock pushrods on a 96" engine that produced over 100ft pds of torque. The bike on this dyno sheet was the first to get this cam. It was run with a 2 into 1 exhaust and stage 1 air filter using TTS Mastertune tuner. The wavy lines on the run were due to the owner had aftermarket plug wires installed. This cam carrys the power from 2500 to 4500rpms
Obviously this is on a bike with 2 into 1 exhaust. The power output on a factory style headpipe and the fact we ride a trike will net lower results. But if you take into consideration that the stock 103 only puts out 80ft lbs of torque and 70hp from the factory this small cam would be a winner and not break the bank giving you more power to the ground.
I look forward to what my custom cams John has designed for my 124" will do going into my trike
