Should we ban___?

Hello everyone: Since terrists are using pressure cooker to made bombs killing people in Boston Marrathon, this is one of the major component to make a bomb. Should the government bann the pressure cooker or puchaser need to fill the form and have a back ground check too?

Banning Pressure cookers is the least of your worries. If these dafties want to buy stuff for making bombs etc... All they need to do is go to any hardware store or hairdresser cash and carry..
What they want to find out is who backed these boys.. They didn't have the savvy to do this..

Tennessee got another step closer today to allowing Teachers to carry guns on campus. Unlike some States, our Legislature realizes it isn't the guns, the ammo, the registration or lack of, etc. that each disaster has had in common....it's the fact that They were all a GUN FREE ZONE. Tennessee already placed armed "Resource Officers" in Our Schools after the Sandy Hook killings (Good Job Tennessee Legislature), and is now readying a Bill to let Teachers with registered Guns and Carry Permits bring Theirs after a Special Training Course. One of the Training Facilities is being constructed here already. Being able to "take out" one "Crazy" before They can shoot multiple victims will definetly be a plus...."One or None" sounds waaaay better than "26".....wrong Thread for this, but I generally don't post in the Gun Forum.....the 2nd Amendment isn't an arguable item until recently...it has always been considered a "Guaranteed Right" to Free, Responsible American Citizens guaranteed by Our Constitution....."Some" Folks in recent times seem to have trouble reading it as written.....

Looks Tenn has their act together, I applaud their efforts. An armed citizen can end something bad a lot quicker than having a bunch or unarmed targets for the bad guy to choose from. I always wonder what someone is thinking when they put up a sign forbidding weapons in their establishment. The people they want around are those who have gone through the steps of being trained, finger printed and back ground checked and then carry responsibly.

Probably at Walgreens they will be behind the counter with all the good drugs and you'll have to provide an ID to purchase them just like the good Sudafed.

Only the 3qt size, They hold too much, So they should be considered assault pressure cookers..

Yep, some of this stuff just gets to be "SOOOOO POLITICALLY CORRECT" and are great smoke screens for diverting Our attention from the "Real Problems" that "They" have no idea how to fix.....always picking up this week's new "Sympathy Agenda Item"...Our Constitution has worked Great when left alone...I prefer work and solutions to the "Real Problems" instead of "Constitution Agenda Re-Writing"...Arm Our Teachers and Others, get rid of Easy Target Gun Free Zones, and move on to Real Items.....

Banning of pressure cookers...so stupid. Background checks for buying one? I think that is going overboard. Anyone can look up how to build a bomb on the internet and buy the goods from hardware stores or even Wal-Mart. Regulations like that just allow for other goods to be regulated like that. Maybe one day, you will be going through a background check for toothpaste...

Heard that Indiana was looking at how they would fund for arming teachers in the schools. Wasn't a question of whether they would, just how they would get the funds I know that as of right now, we have 3 cops covering 4 schools in the area. I would rather have one per school, but they decided a cop could cover 10 miles quick enough.
