:confused:Hi! Does anyone know of some online maint info for Motor Trike? I can't find any adjustment info, or install/remove drawings for the thing either. Lotsa questions for the Motor trike guys, but they don't answer e mails. Love this darned thing! My wife and I are hooked BIG TIME!! Nice site, thanks, Jim:)

Thanks very much. I did go to that site and print that page, but I still thank you for responding. I was looking for an actual Manual or some kind of installation pictures. I have some painting to do to eliminate some shoddy paintwork, and could use a diagram to remove the body. Would also make cleaning and inspection easier. Does anyone from Motor Trike give a hoot about us older owners??? Doesn't seem like they do. (hope I'm wrong). Thanks again, and I did all the maint. shown on the page you gave me. It is all I could find though. Jim P.S.- The paint was done by them. Not very well done.

That's it!! A huge thank you!!

I printed the manual for my own use, more info than I could get outa Motor Trike themselves!!! Much needed info, I owe ya one!!!! Jim

We got our Motor Trike used from a private party, and found precious little information about it. The Bud Redmond page is the best info I've found, but that is not anywhere near a factory manual type thing. Ours is a '95 GW, and I think it was triked near new. The kit is the "Classic 1", it has 2 chrome handles to open the trunk. The current version has no handles, opens with a remote latch. I think it pre-dates the current owners of Motor Trike.

We are planning a trip to Texas in May, most likely stay around Tyler, in the same area as teh Motor Trike factory in Troup. We are planning on stopping in, we will see what we can get at the factory. I am hoping for an installation manual.

Jim-
I am a Motor Trike Dealer and will be glad to assist you. Dealers are not allowed to publicly post (re-publish as it is called) the service & installation manuals provided by Motor Trike or any trike manufacturer. I am pretty sure that it has to do with the fact that for one, it is copyrighted material and secondly, there may be some liability exposure issues if they or their dealers facilitated a do-it-yourself kind of mentality by openly distributing that material. I think I can help guys on an individual basis though. Send me your email address or a fax number and I will send you what you need.

I am Bazooka A/K/A Adventure Motorsports. I originally posted under the business name, but felt like I was always still at work so I ditched that name for the most part. There are some real good people on this site and I like to come here to relax, chat and have some fun.

Hi Jim, I've been monitoring a Gwrra site for a few months and I also have a motortrike and they aren't too happy with M/T responces.

:)I have made some good cyber friends on Steve Saunders goldwing forums, nice place. I'm not impressed with the GWRRA forums, even though I'm a club member. They seem a little "harsh" at times on the trike board. This place is great!:D Jim

Glad I could pass it along. NO question that what George is doing is a fantastic thing for us MT guys. Very unselfish in deed. I am looking forward to meeting him at the Texas Kerryville gathering in May. Told him the first few were on me.

And I would have to agree with you Jim, this board is off to a great start. Very refreshing indeed.
