The wife and I had 9 days with nothing on the calendar, so we took a trip to see my sister in St George, UT on the 2013 Stallion. We left from Austin, Tx and saw strong winds and a dust storm in Roswell, NM and the next day a blizzard in Quemado, NM. Luckily, there was a motel in that tiny town, so we avoided having to ride 45 miles to the next town in a "whiteout". Southern UT is a beautiful ride. We saw Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, and Natural Bridges NP's. On the way back from Albuquerque to Austin it was COLD. The Stallion ran great, but the cruise went out on the way out there and it is leaking coolant. Hopefully TMS will cover the repairs - I paid way too much money for problems like that.
How were the seats (driver's mainly) for that long of a ride? My goldwing I used to have was decent enough, but a 3 hour drive, work, then back, left me with a bit of a sore backside for the rest of the day.

Call Mitchell's about your issues with your trike. They should make it good for you.
I have had a series of issues with mine and so far so good about having them fix the problems with no additional cost with the exception of the long drive to their locations since neither are close to me. In fact the Gatesville location has mine right now. Had to trailer it to them. Will pick it up after they have the newest issues fixed. I agree we paid for a luxury trike and in the state of current economy that is saying something and I also wish my toy did not have so many issues. I have vanity plates on mine and was thinking I should change it to Lemon, but my old man said nah just change it to Buggy for the bugs that are having to be worked through. But of course that was after he had cooled down from being mad when he had to leave me on side of road Saturday so he could go home to get trailer to haul it home. That particular day he said he wished he had pushed me to get a Gold Wing because those things just keep running and running and running with no issues.

But as long as Mitchell's keeps fixing my "bugs" without costing me anything extra I guess I will be happy. Eventually, maybe we will get them all worked out.

I picked up my trike last Friday and rode it home. Working great again! Mitchell's was great! pepperAnd I thank them! pepper

0I rode 12 hours on mine, only stopping for fuel and many stretches. My butt hurt for 2-3 days after I got home. Rode from Shreveport LA to Baker FL. The seat could be more comfortable but I sure don't want to ride that far ever again in one day. The trike ran flawlessly and I could have made good time if I had not run into terrible rain storms.

I plan on keeping my 2010 Stallion for many years to come.

Ride Safe all!
