I ride my own, have been riding trikes for approx 14 years and I love my trike!
Yup wife asked me last night after dinner. How many women on your Trike site ride their own Trikes?? I told her I haven't got that far just yet. So I thought I'd ask on here. Its a pretty good question. My wife has had her own Harley yrs ago. So how many women do ride their own trike on here ? Thank you ladies

I've seen many women piloting their own trikes. My wife had me get my LT converted so she could learn to ride it. We've been relocating after retiring and she has not taken the time to learn it yet. We'll see.
In the mean time I ride it often enough to keep everything in good shape. Lots of fun. I go from 2 wheels to 3 and really enjoy both.

I've been riding my own for many years. It is a great question, though! I suspect that the majority of the women who have joined as members here are riders, not passengers, but it will be fun to see the responses you get.

Wife (THE BOSS) owns 2 Gl 1500 and GL 1800. Rides both not at the same time tho. She does sometimes lets me ride one, but costs me big time. She also sometimes let me drive with her on the back, not often. Lesson I'm learning-- get on, sit down and keep my yap shut.
I don't have my own, but there may be perfectly good reasons for those of us who are co-riders: I can't see well enough to be on my own / someone else may have a disability / some of us can't (or won't) put in the time or labor to keep a trike or bike showroom perfect (like hubby's) / can't or won't take on another monthly payment. Some of us wish we could feel the wind directly in our faces, but sometimes just being along for the ride is enough! Besides, SOMEONE has to take the pictures!
I know that this doesn't answer your original question, but had to speak up for my co-riding sisters! Whether we ride or not, this forum is all-inclusive and we're all welcome!
WOW! Thanks for the reponse so far. WE love to see women on motorcycles two wheels or 3 doesn't matter. My wife rode a softtail for yrs. She's all for us riding again. Talk about it often. If a Harley goes by both of our heads turn . If you ride up front or as a passenger. Its doesn't matter one bit ! Your still knee's in the Breeze.
Thanks For posting about this. HOPE theirs MORE comments coming

We have a 2002 1800 with a Motortrike kit. My wife rides it about as much as I do since she is retired and I am not. In fact she will be making one leg of the Run for the Wall ride next week while I work.

We originally bought the hubby a trike so that we could keep on riding after he experienced medical problems. I liked it so much I bought myself one too. We sold both our cruisers and are happy, happy with the trikes - but I still miss driving my 2-wheeler at times...

Hi, my wife and I both have are own trike. Both are Harleys. We will never go back to 2 wheels, even though I have a 2004 low rider also I can ride if I get the urge,Thanks, Krazy "I"
My wife drives the GL1200 trike and been doing that for about 4 years or so. Medical issues has limited her 2 wheel riding (about 15 years) so I converted my 1985 GL1200 to a trike and she's been toe tapping to the music of the radio/tape while hustlin' down the road. She made the transition to the 3 wheeler very quickly and really, really enjoys that extra wheel...especially on stone/gravel parking lots. She evens lets me ride on back (cool...I get to wave to kids, horses, dogs, cats, birds, etc.) and sometimes I drive. Works out great for long distance travel as we can drive or rest when you want.
I still ride the 2 wheeler but I also have a 3 wheeler for myself. One that she doesn't want to drive. Something about LOUD and being LOUD and no radio? I find it rather fun to ride this LOUD and rather Spartan machine. Kinda fits the owner...

My wife doesn't want a thing to do with it. All you guys out there with better halves that ride, either behind you or on their own, count yourselves lucky!
