GL 1800 Aux Input

I suppose this is intended for a CD player or such.
Can it be used for a phone or portable GPS?

Yes in both cases George. You wouldn't' be able to talk into the phone but you could hear. The earphone jack from the phone or GPS can be connected to the AUX input cable and you'll be a happy listener.

WOOHOO.
Thanks, Jerry.
Since my cell phone has a navigation app, then I can use that through the speakers.

Would it work through the I-Com head set? (If I get one).

I'm not familiar with I-Com headsets but I don't see why not. I've used J & M on every bike that had headset capability and never had an issue with anything coming out of that bike's audio or intercom system
