i think i busted by forks the other day, was making a sharp left u turn and gave to much much gas so the front wheel start skipping then i heard a snapping sound from somewhere. i checked the front end over really good could not see anything going on. was parked at work the other day and noticed a puddle of fork oil under the left part of the fork. since these are the inverted forks i checked it out and it is not running down from the seal which is under a screw on cover, i think, on the upper part of the forks. where the fork goes into the lower cinch clamp by the brake caliper seems to have oil weeping out of it. does anybody have any experience with this type of forks? attached is a link to a picture of the fork where i think it is weeping from.
