Default Summary of '13 TG with 780 miles on clock.

Can't believe I waited this long to own a TriGlide!
Not a bad ride except the solid axle on some big bumps such as bad RR crossings. Plenty of storage.
I did find a loose nut in the trunk receiver part of the trunk latch. Service manager said hold onto the nut and that I bring it in with my thousand mile service. That was at approximate 250 miles on the clock. Now I have to hold the button in to latch the trunk lid. Had the dealer install a rack on my tour pack, which now is showing rust on 2 welds. Had to have the reverse relay replaced, due to a broken mounting post, before they even delivered it to me.
Maybe I'm being picky, but, when a vehicle retails for $32,000 I expect everything to be perfect.
Other than those two minor problems it is a great riding trike! This is my first trike though, so I have nothing to compare it to.
Everybody that stops me to talk about it, I always recommend a trike to them anyway.

Yep. My neighbor down the street came home with a shiny new 2013 F350 Super Crew with a Powerstroke, Sync, leather, all the goodies. Really nice truck. Stopped to talk to him while walking Zuma and looked at the sticker. I could have easily purchased this truck with the $$$ I have into my TGlide.
2011 Cool Blue TriGlide with full stage 4, a lotta other upgrades, and a lotta shiny stuff.

Mr Sparky, the trunk locks have been an issue on the Harly trike since '09 - my Wife has had her replaced twice on her '10 - my advice is to lube them regularly. Haven't heard/ seen and rack problems - hopefully you just got a defect and your 'friendly' dealer replaced it.
Wife/I both have 2010's and LOVE them!

I know what you mean on some of that stuff.I think the assembly line runs 5 days a week & quality control only works 2 or 3!

I STILL can't get over the fact that my triglide cost more than my first house in 1974!!!
And when I think of what I paid for CARS back then, NICE ONES! I want to kick my own butt!!

You hit the nail on the head, pretty much every Harley is just a starter kit which requires the owner to go from there.

It's all relative, My first new car was a 1964 Barracuda, 26 Hundred out the door. But gas was 35 cents a gal and i was making about a hundred a week back then, I would think [hope] were all doing better than that now, Other wise we couldn't afford a 30k + toy. My Father used to always say when ever gas went up a penny more , I don't know how you kids are gonna survive by the time you grow up gas will be a dollar a gal and bread will be a dollar a Loaf. But some how we did.

Sparky, fiddle with your rear shock air pressure and rear tire pressure a bit. That may be part of the rough ride. Many shops seem to think since the trikes have auto tires on the rear that they should have auto tire pressure. I don't remember what the reccomended pressure is but I've run them down as low as 16psi.

26 psi rear 36 front and after you put on a lift kit from either of the two supporters you can run 30-40 psi in the shocks. Helps somewhat to smooth out the bumps.

install paul Yaffes CLASSIC 10" 'BAGGER' bars (BK $100.00). $120.00 for 4"over clutch cable,$20.00 for 12" TBY extension. 100.00 for bk handle bars.a week-ends work. & soo much improvement
in rideing position. OEM wireing ok (doesn't need to be messed with).
i'm 5'11" with 19 1/2" from inside arm pit to wrist hinge. ans i can easily reach the grips leaning back on the back rest.

Just picked up my 13 on the 14th of June and the STEALER said front 40 psi, rear tires 26 and the shocks work well at 30. Drove her 1150 miles home two up and it was a very smooth ride.
