Yeh, guys thats my baby. I had a brain fade early this year and put him up for sale. Withdrawn now and glad I'm keeping him.

The ea81 powerplant loses 14 horses with the VW auto. Trying to tow a 1000lb trailer with it and it doesnt cut it. So the first solution was to fit a supercharger a SC12 Toyota one. At a modest 5psi it has all the power I ever wanted- beaut.

But the economy at 19mpg wasnt good. So I have a ea82 SPFI unit from your part of the world (wasnt available here) ready for fitting. Also ahve a spare ea81 ready for reconditioning early next year.

Now that I've goneto all this trouble if I had my time again I would have fitted a EJ20. But not now. The bonus is the ea81 simplicity.
