Congrats. I will be passing by your area later this morning. I am at hotel in Lebenon.
I don't know how you change your name, but those that do will be at the rally south of you by Monday in Eureka Springs. Take a ride down. Show off the new wheels.
Well y'all, I did it.
I found a red trike (had to be red!) within my price range. We brought her home last night! I am so excited! This is the culmination of a long-held dream of mine.
I appreciate y'alls advice & will be asking lots more.
PS. I want to change my user name; how do I do that?

Congratulations! Love the red!

What year is that trike? Looks good. The old 1500 is agreat trike. They are like a tank. Only a Lot faster and smoother... I have a 97 myself. Any questions just ask. One thing I would do is pull off all the left side covers ( getting the rev lever is a little tricky) and find 2 rubber tubes right behind the shifter. On the bottom are plugs pull them off . Make sure you have something under them to catch the water.
Replace the plugs.
I am sure this has never been done.
You may be able to do it just looking under it. Welcome aboard...while you have the cover off u could replace the filter also. They disintegrate over time and can get into the carb.
When I am gona fix something I will fix it. You don't have to bug me every 6 months.

Not sure if I have free time or I just forgot everything I was suppose to do.
Retired and highly recommend it.
OUTSTANDING, good looking ride!!!!!
@Bikerbozo; I would love to go to Eureka Springs, but I am in the middle of my Comprehensive finals for my Masters degree. I'm sorry I will have to miss y'all on this trip.
@John; She is 1995 Honda. Thanks for the mechanical advice; I'll show that info to my husband.
@everybody; thanks for the comments. Y'all would have enjoyed the conservation I had with the insurance people yesterday on the phone to get quotes. Here's part of the conversation.
Ins. Rep: How many years have you or your husband ridden a motorcycle?
Me: None.
Ins. Rep: Do you or your husband have a motorcycle license?
Me: Nope, not yet.
Ins. Rep: Have either one of you taken a motorcycle safety course?
Me: Nope, not yet. They kind of want you to have a motorcycle to do those things.
The Insurance rep just laughed since they deal primarily with motorcycles. The other insurance people I talked to about quotes were somewhat surprised with my answers to those questions.
By the way, are there lighting accessories that would help it to be seen during the day? Most of our riding will be done then, but the red lights blend in with the red bike. I would like add something that would help it to be seen for safety purposes. The brake lights do pulsate & I wanted to get something similar for the headlight (don't laugh! I know I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm learning!)
Any advice would be helpful.
Nice looking Bike oops trike Patti . Hey you have to ask question to learn. So ask away on here. I remember when I 1st started riding. I asked so many questions all my friends would take turns. Hey go ask Wes or go ask Dennis lol. But that how I learned and i'm still asking . Good luck with the New ride. Rick
Congrats on the new TU wheels
pepper pepper......Looks great ,sure you will enjoy !!...
we all have our faults .....others point them out to us......guess we know what theirs are
Don't know the. Rules were you are from. Here in Conn. you can't reg. the motorcycle if you do not have at least a learner s permit. You can't take the motorcycle test on a 3 wheeler. They have 250 cc motorcycles that you use.
You can't insure a trike/ bike with out a motorcycle license. Ride safe ride slow, build up speed as you build up confidence, ride your own ride / speed, do not let anyone intimidate you into riding fast than your guardian angel can fly...
