DeLand area, 20 miles west of Daytona. Started my most recent VW trike about a month ago. I'll be disassembling it this weekend for paint. Hope to have it wired, plumbed and out for a maiden run down the street in another couple of weeks. Question: (I haven't figured out how to post one in the appropriate forum yet) I am running a chrome Corvette master cylinder with a 7" dual diaphram booster, with discs on the rear. Can I plumb both reservoirs into a T and run it to the rear brakes, or will this push too much fluid? Alternatively, I guess I could run one line to the brakes, and use the other for a hydraulic brake light switch. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Welcome to TT from Middle Ga,
I wish I could help with your question, Sorry
I would try re-posting, but put I NEED HELP in the subject line

Rsw: I'm using the el-cheapo CIP1 disc brake conversion kit.

In my opinion, the master cyclinder is overkill for the brake setup. I don't think you would want to use both lines because that will be to much fluid for your little caliper pistons. If you end up with a hard peddle and no brakes it will be because the MC is to big. Heres a little reading on VW brakes.

Welcome to TT ! I am also building a VW trike., my second one.I built the first up in Palm Coast. Now I find myself in Illinois working on this one. Moving back as soon as it is finished.

Been riding my trike for 10 months now. The power booster on the rear brakes works well...although the engine does speed up by 2 or 300 rpm as the pedal is released and the vacuum booster refills. I don't know if I posted these pics before. If so, my apologies.
