Installed tie down brackets from e-glide goodies
When you place the trike on your trailer, look below the head light and between the forks. The frame in easily accessible. I run tie down loops around the frame and above the cross bar on the frame. Connect the tie down loop to your tie down straps and then your tie down on the trailer bed. The frame is the strongest part of the machine and use it as a tie down point and your trike will not go anywhere.
Tie down the rear by looking under the real axle. Harley has a tie down ring on each side you can use. If not a Harley factory trike, loop a tie down strap around the axle and then to the tie down point on the trailer bed.
Your trike will not move forward or back or sideways.
Good luck.
We have Kuryakyn part #940-185 (plain) on my trike and my husband has #940-186 (chrome CHICK). Both were easy to place and have a large enough opening to use with the extensions then the ratchet straps. Bought these after nearly dinging my husbands fairing even with the extension straps. The Harley set you mentioned looks like it has a pretty small opening to put the extension straps thru, at least that is my opinion unless they're a lot bigger than the picture I googled makes them out to be.
The HD ones wont fit triglides!!
