Champion trike wheels

Hi I'm new to this site and I live in the UK - But don't hold that against me.
I own a 2001 Harley FLHTCUI Champion trike which I love and adore - I bought the kit and fitted it myself some 4 years ago. Unfortunately the English weather has got the better of the rear wire wheels (US chroming is just not up to UK continual rain) and they have begun to go rusty.

I would now like to fit some chromed alloy wheels but I don't know which wheels would fit. Sizes are different in the UK and although I can buy wheels for US cars over here, I don't know which would be OK - So

If anybody has changed their wheels on a Champion FLH kit and know what will suffice then please let me know. I'm over in the uSA in October and can possibly buy some over there and fill my suitcases (she won't be too happy with me) or I can hopefully buy some over here in the UK

Please help - I'm getting desperate - I have a lovely trike with brown wheels

Kind regards to all trikers
Take a look at the sizes of the 5 lug Ford Mustang wheels. Measure your lug pattern and match to a Mustang lug pattern. That will at least give you a starting place.

There are a few guys here that said it would fit their trikes.

OH... welcome to the site!

Gareth, my trike is a 2000 FatBoy w/ a Champion kit. I put chrome wheels on before I ever took the trike out on the road, but I still have the two aluminum wheels that came with the kit. If you want them for the cost of shipping, they are yours. Just let me know.

If you are interested, send me the size of tire (tyre to you ) and the spacing of your lug nuts on the current wheels so we can verify they will fit before we ship them.
Many thanks for the information - that's a great place to begin my hunt - Please pass on my thanks also to the other guys who gave you the info
Looks like I'm among friends - It's a lonely place being a triker in England - we just don't do them and the only ones you see apart from mine are VW Beetle conversions
Thanks again

Gareth

If you know or have the time sometime to look---what size wheels did you get for your trike (4 or 5 lug)----i want to put some chrome on ours
Mine is stamped 15-7jj-----but discount tire cannot cross reference with that number ?

Herb, the wheels were the same size as the stock wheels from Champion, just chrome.....5 lug nuts. Sorry the picture is a bit fuzzy, but this will give you the idea.
