Okay so most of you would remember that I have a 2004 Harley V-rod trike that was converted to a trike (MotorTrike) in 2009. I purchased it last October with 17,000 miles on it and it now has 21,000 miles on it. Because the person that owned it before me did not drive it for three years and I started driving it every day it started having some engine leaks. And an exhaust leak. Over the last couple of weeks I have put Just over $1100 into repairs and it is now perfect. When I first sent it in for repairs he thought I had a couple of gaskets that were leaking but it turned out that my seals and hoses all over my engine needed to be repaired because of dry rot. I was told last week that I could take it now that it is fixed to Harley and have them inspect it and once inspected for $2,250 I can get a wheel to wheel warranty for five years unlimited mileage. $2000 if I did not want to have wheels and tires included, But since I also just had a new front tire put on it and a cost of over $300 I would definitely spend $250 at wheels and tires. I'm wrestling with the idea of doing this or not. Does anybody here have experience with Harley Davidson's extended warranty? The last time I bought an extended warrenty for a car (about 10 years ago) and when I needed any warranty work done there was always in a loophole that they never covered. This warranty looks pretty solid. Thanks.
