There was a cross and an anchor here, but Tommy wouldn't let me climb up to look at what was written on it. He says its hard enough explaining why I fall in parking lots, let alone having to explain why would I fall into a river...

We were able to get a close up picture of Mama and Papa Eagle in their nest. We took this picture in Ketchikan before boarding the ferry for Whittier.

And close by, under the eagles nest, was this really neat fisherman. The salmon were running and Mr. Black Bear was hungry.

We arrived in Anchorage last night about 7p.m. The ferry from Ketchikan arrived in Whittier at 6 a.m. yesterday morning. Four days on that thing is way too long :gah: Have I mentioned that I don't like being on water, being in water, looking at water? I get seasick looking at a glass of water!!! Two reasons water exists--- to drink it and God wants me to be clean.. Well enough of that, I'm getting woozy again just thinking about it. Now you ask, why did it take so long to get from Whittier to Anchorage? My sweet, caring, thoughtful husband decided we needed to take a tour to see the glaciers. Wonderful idea. NOT!!!!! He put me back on another BOAT for five and a half hours.. The glaciers were beautiful, YUCK..... Ok, give me a little time and I will post some pictures of the glaciers, I forgot to download them to the iPad. Be back with pictures soon. (I am having a good time, so please forgive the venting). :xszpv:
