TODAY MY DAUGHTER CHELSEA AND i RAN A 370 MILE DAY CRUISING THE WIND RIVER AND TEN SLEEP CANYON RANGES IN THE BIGHORN MOUNTAINS OF WYOMING.
tHE WIND RIVER RANGE IS HOME TO THERMOPOLIS AND THE WORLDS LARGEST HOT SPRINGS.
CHIEF WASHAKIE OF THE SHOSHONE DEDICATED THE HOT SPRINGS IN THE 1800's.
As i understand it, The town of ten sleep was so named because the indian measured time by how many sleeps it took to cross the mountain from the town of present day buffalo, wyoming.
I will have to make two posts to show you pictures so this will be post 1
