Disappointed at Stallion

My previous post showed that Motor Trike was at Sturgis. Before I left to go I contacted Stallion in Texas and asked them if they were going. They replied there would be "someone" there representing Stallion. I was hoping to get accessories for my Stallion while there. Well guess what...nothing. There were two dealers who sold Stallions present but no actual folks FROM Stallion there. My hat goes off to the one member of the Alabama dealership who helped me with my A/C problem (Blown junction box). The rest, however did not seem to want to even talk to you about owning a Stallion. In my own personal opinion, they were not very interested that someone drove all that way to say hello! Bottom line? Stallion was not getting it's monies worth from Motor Trike.

I see a few Stallions around SC not very many compaired to others to include Boss Hoss ,I can only assume they may have dealer problems "far and few" But like any bike you have good luck and bad luck .

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but just wanted to say "Hey" to bikerbillone. We lived in Kissimmee for 21 years. Charley, Frances, Ivan and Jeanne made me long for blizzards and ice storms, so we came back to the Great White North in 05.

I'm sorry that you missed us at Sturgis! Motor Trike was set up at 8th and Lazelle Street. We didn't have any Stallions with us, however we did deliver a gorgeous "Gold Wing Blue" Stallion, pictured below, to Main Street Bikes & Trikes while we there. Traditionally, however, we do not sell anything at the motorcycle rallies, even accessories. I'm sorry for the confusion. If you need anything else we are more than happy to help!!!

Really glad You finally chimed into this Thread...having dealt with Ya'll in the past, and well aware of Your Great Customer Service, I knew this had to be a simple misunderstanding.....ThumbUp :10:

I some what agree with some of the posting ,but with any company out there .you have to promote what is selling or you will be out of buss. very soon . With only 800-1000 units out there it hard to produce new parts and such for our model ( The Stallion ) or for that matter any company to produce market and sell to a very limited number of buyer's prim example the air/wind deflectors and rear spoilers 5-6k making a mold most places will not custom build a mold for less than 100-300 unit order and then theres the issue of color and with or without third brake light . and then you have to guess just how many will buy it without giving it away losing money the other example I give you is the wind deflector which I have for sell after waiting months for never installed them still in their shipping box. I have them for sale at a loss of $50. and i'm shipping them for free also...So if its something new it has to be really cheap that ever one will want or just have to have it even if its just a simple up graded speaker's / exhaust / headlight /a dimmer switch for the dash would be nice also..sorry for going on just giving my two cents ( well maybe a quarter's worth ) I may be a newbe to the Stallion but built the longest running motorcycle trailer in the world now more than 45 years and many are still on the road ( Shoreline / Skyline and Cycleline Trailer's Inc.

true motortrike and Stallion are the same but motortrike makes you become a dealer for both. a dealer maybe a dealer for trikes and conversions but may not be a dealer for the Stallions .Don't know why but that's the way they protect their dealers....

I have always been fascinated by the Stallion. The reviews I have read have been mixed and there is only so much you can tell from a short test ride.

When I saw a Stallion at the GWRRA Rally in Miss. some years back. The seller/dealer had one there. I asked for a test drive and he laughed in my face. I wasn't real impressed with his attitude to say the least. If someone is selling a Stallion and won't even let you drive it where is the incentive to buy one. At $35K I will ride a trike before buying or any other bike for that matter. NOT a real good selling point!

Personally, it would be a cold day in **** when I buy a 35K machine without a very serious test ride or maybe 2 or 3 test rides... I went down to Niehaus Cycle in Litchfield,IL last year and test rode every single trike they had ( I believe) virtually all day long with 2 other buddies that were interested... Didn't buy anything there yet, but if I do, that's where I will buy - where they bent over backwards for me and my business!!!

Don't condemn the product based on one dealer. Stallion has all ways had test rides available at every show I saw one at. When we purchased ours we rode a demo 4 times before we ordered. Try a different dealer. or call the factory to see where they will have one available at to ride. You won't regret it. A great trike.
