Anyone have experience with these devices? The wife wants to install one on the GW1800 trike so she can drive if the need arises (and it has a couple of times, but that's another story). Pros? Cons? Advice?

Some folks have good luck with them and others have had them fail. Does she have a physical limitation that would prevent her from shifting it without an electric shifter?

Red Ultra Powered By Head-Quarters 120, Easy Clutch Pull By ClutchWIZ. 2012 GL1800 Hannigan. I've yet to ride a stock Harley which wasn't in need of a mechanical intervention.
Several Friends here have Them...One is on a Drag Bike ridden by a one-legged Rider.....about "50-50" on dependability from talking to them.......Like msocko3 asked, is there a particular reason for the need. If not, and the only issue is lack of shift training, I'd most likely advise sticking to the standard shifter arrangement.....
..if it has WHEELS, I'm in...ThumbUp
No, no physical limitation, just has trouble getting the coordination down. She wants to be able to get us home if something happens to me such that I can't, and that's been the case a couple of times.
I have one I like it
I've had one on my '10 GL with a CSC Cobra XL for 2 yrs and 12,000 miles and after I got it adjusted correctly it has worked great. No left leg. I love mine never a problem
Bought the thing yesterday and will have it installed next week by someone who know's what they're doing (I hope). Did get a good recommendation for a shop not too far away.
