Had the scoot for a week now and ?

Well I picked up my latest scoot a week ago today. The only time I got to ride it was then. That was ridin it home from Wis to my place. About an hours ride ! Since then I had issue's with getting the paper work all worked out. Buying from a private owner isn't easy if you haven't done it before. So it took that long to finally get everything in order. Running here & there. Making calls to two party's involved. Man O man. Not that they we not NICE people. They were out standing & their Son that handled most of it. Long story. Just glad when I got back here tonight knowing it all mine finally. So we had dinner around 7 ish and I went out and put the Bike back together and also put the long awaited plate on her. So tomorrow after coffee her and I are going to get to know each other

Morning running a little late this morning stayed up late. We were watch the Tv series the Killing. Watched 5 of them. Anyways. Had some business to take care in the am yesterday . Then came home to a nice breakfast. After that I went out and put the New mirrors on the fairng. Then I put my Levis' and Boots on ( & helmet) And started her up ThumbUp Damn she sounded GREAT! Threw my leg over her. And kicked it in gear. Looked back at my wife & said back in a while. She says Got your cell phone with ya ? I just grinned and with a twist of the throttle I was gone. Got down to the corner and sat there for a min. Thinking which way to go. Made the right turn and I was gone down the rd to HAPPINESS pepper. Drove thru a couple of small towns and just enjoyin the ride. Waved at a few Harley's coming at me. Then after about an hr I stopped to get a drink and check things out. Got off her and walked inside and bought an Ice Tea. Stood next to the building and drank it while looking at my New Girl friend. Stood there just looking around and my mind going 100 mph! Then walked over to her checked out a few things and threw my leg over her and fired her up again. Smiling isn't the right word to say how I felt. I had all the energy I had 10 yrs ago. I just wanted to hit the rd for a while.

I think the ride lasted just over 2 hrs. I did like a GOOD husband does and called my wife. To tell her everything is COOl and I'll be back in a while. She said just be careful your not 22 any more and your not Bullet proof! :laugh: Even thou I felt like I could go on for hrs. I headed back before rush hr traffic started up. Damn guys & Girls. That felt like I never left riding my older Harley's. ONE thing I do miss a lot is ridin with my old friend Dennis back in Michigan. Man we just knew how to ride side by side handle bar to handle bar. And make any ride a fun ride. When I got home and drove into the garage. I wasn't ready to quit just yet. But The smell of Bacon changed my mind. Got off her wiped a couple of bugs off her and went into eat. SO 1st date was a success for both of us! I think were going to get along FINE together

I think the WIFE likes her almost the same . Never ever heard her complain about any M/C I ever had. OOPS yeah she did that 1980 low Rider was a pain in the BUTT. Not for me for her ha ha ha. She used to ride her own SOFTAIL HERITAGE HARLEY for yrs. Now she's more comfortable on the back. She love's being around HARLEY's & the people that ride them ThumbUp
