It's amazing to me ~ doesn't anyone else see a dearth of trike magazine articles?

Where are the mainstream magazine articles about three-wheelers?

I subscribe to AMERICAN IRON and CYCLE WORLD magazines. In AI (Sept 2013, 194 pages), I counted 7 trike manufacturer's ads. CW was more modest ~ 1 ad from BRP Can-Am (Sept 2013, only 86 pages)

Advertising is nice, but bias. People may turn a page and stop to admire a full-color ad of a trike. But there's no compelling copy to read; no story to stop and read (and importantly, to remember the manufacturer mentioned in the article.)

Nether magazine has had a three-wheel feature in years!

You would think that, between BRP Can-Am, Lehman, Champion, Motor Trike, Frankenstein, Mystery Design, CSC, (YES, I know I missed a few), there would be ONE manufacturer that would step up and write a compelling article, that's not TOO bias about one brand (a good PR person can do THAT) instead of a(nother) bland full-page ad insertion for the next few months?

PS: I'm not a "PR" or ad account manager. I'm just an old retired fellow who's already filled up MY garage

Hasn't been that long ago that there were no Trike Advertisements at all in the Major Motorcycle Magazines...take it as a "Step in the Right Direction" with the old adage "Rome wasn't Built in a Day" added to it........Road Runner Magazine does a really good job, by comparison, with Trike Reviews and Touring by Trike Articles. They do Tour Articles using most every Type and Brand of Motorcycles, Trikes, and Scooters...Check em' out......

Looks like I'll be subscribing to Road Runner. As with the OP, I've been looking for a magazine that will cover trikes. WingWorld has some articles, but I'm not ready to join GWRRA.....

Septembers Wing World is chuck full of trike info. BTW you don't have to be a GWRRA member to purchase Wing World.

I sent a message to the Editor and Chief of American Iron and he got back to me to say they do run more trike related articles in the American Iron Motorcycle Bagger Magazine they publish.

It's increasing....can't hope for too much too soon.....Scooters are the same way...Lotsa' Write-ups/Reviews in Japan and Europe, but really slim here...Like Trike Articles, getting better slowly...

Septembers Wing World is chuck full of trike info. BTW you don't have to be a GWRRA member to purchase Wing World.

Yes, I know, but the membership is $45/year, WingWorld is $40 a year. So I guess the plan is, if I WW, I might as well join up with GWRRA for the extra 5 bucks.

I'll look into subscribing to Road Runner too. I seem to remember that Trike Magazine was a quarterly x $45 per year.

Maybe what we all need to do. To help ourselfs is to e mail or some how start a write in campaign to a couple of these mags. On what we would like to see in them. If even a 3rd of our members on here e mail or write them. I bet we'll get something in return sooner . What do you think ? Only take a few mins once !!

TOM: Did you send him a e mail or what ?. Can you share with us how you got in contact with him. Maybe a few more of us can let him know our feelings on this also. The noisy wheel gets the grease

Not many articles, I agree, but there is 'some' improvement. GW mag is better, and I'd like to subscribe, and probably will at a later time. The thing is rather expensive compared to Rider, and some of the other m/c mags that publish something other than sport and dirt bikes.
