Has anyone fitted one of these to an Ultra, I would like to know how to do it, If possible before I start as it doesn't come with any instructions.

You could take a ride by your closest Harley dealer and check out the installation on a Triglide.

Red Ultra Powered By Head-Quarters 120, Easy Clutch Pull By ClutchWIZ. 2012 GL1800 Hannigan. I've yet to ride a stock Harley which wasn't in need of a mechanical intervention.
I have a Motortrike kit and after making sure my rear was aligned and the belt was tightened, I have no wobble in my steering at slow speeds.
When you are adjusting the rear for alignment, measure back from the front floor board mounting points on both sides to the axle. These points are welded to the frame equally which will give you the best place to measure from for alignment. The drive belt needs to be tight with only a slight amount of deflection in it.
Overcoming Adversity is the path to better ideas!!

zed, that is the same product I installed on my 03' roar king conversion. It's a Shindy products unit and there's a installation video on bkrider.com for the flht models.I used a set of aftermarket tree's purchased from ZOOK and had to modify the bracket that bolts to the lower tree.Easy install other than that.
