I run Michelin Primacy MXV4 and love them. Smooth ride and plenty of grip in the wet. Run at 22 psi, per the Goldwing shop.

Thanks to all that responded. I decided to go with the Michelin Defender. It is the new tire that replaces the Hydroedge and the Primacy MXV4. pepper
Michelin Defender here - 24 PSI 2 up and 26 with 2 up and the trailer.
I am happy with the original equipment and will replace with like kind.

I think if you tried a different rear tire you would be even more happier. I just installed the Goodyear Comfort Tread and was even more impressed with the ride and handling of the trike.
Just my thoughts..Good Luck
I run Michelin Defenders. 90K mile tires. Can't be too careful with the little woman on the back.
Michelin Defenders (90K) on rear, 26 lbs. Great all around weather tire and safe. Nothing too good for the little woman.
