It's Great Stuff...we used it in all of Our Yard Vehicles that we run around on the Junk Yard. They get "lugged" a lot and sometimes filled with "used/old gas" out of insurance wrecks. If You have no "issues" with Your Trike, I personally see no reason to run it....probably won't hurt anything, but no gain to I bet.....

Not a big fan of SeaFoam as it does get into the oil if used as a shock treatment.
But I am a big fan of Tehcron. Its good for whatever ails a gas engine.

Use SeaFoam to keep our Yamaha RSV trike running well. Whenever our trike is stored, even for days, I fill both main and aux fuel tanks and give fuel a dose of SeaFoam and Stabil. Started this practice early in the life of our trike, after I let our trike sit for a month with untreated fuel. Had serious backfiring and really got scared. Never have issues with treated fuel. Trike always starts easy and runs smoothly. Don't bother to treat fuel on trips, but always treat fuel and run trike 10-15 minutes to get treated fuel in system for storage. Works so far...

p.s. We are retired and our car and truck sit most of the time. Dump a can of SeaFoam into each vehicle periodically to keep them running well.

Sea Foam is a very good cleaner. It also has some other benefits but mostly the cleaner is it claim to fame. I once bought a Yamaha Royal Star Venture that the owner did not take very good care of. Ir really ran horrible until I ran add a full quart can to the gas tank and went for a ride. Cleaned everything out and it ran great.

I use it as a maintenance cleaner in my GL1800 from time to time but not on a regular basis. Mostly I run StarTron in every tank of gas..

I have used Sea Foam both as a regular maintenance and as a drastic cleaner. I have used it in fuel systems and in lubrication systems. If the bike has sat for some time and the carbs are gummed up, run it thru the fuel system. If the oil has not been maintained like it should, add some to your crankcase and let it work thru there for a while, then drain it out. Sometimes if either system is bad enough you will have to do the dosage a few times before seeing good results. But yes, I do on occasion add a little to my fuel system just to keep the carbs clean. Ride safe.

I use non ethanol gas in my trike and all my lawn and garden equipment. I agree with Skutter, " If You have no "issues" with Your Trike, I personally see no reason to run it....probably won't hurt anything, but no gain to I bet...." If you plan to store your trike for any length of time, then I would recommend an additive of some sort. Here in S/W Ga. I ride year round and have no storage issues.

Sea Foam is also used to treat oil and since it is oil based and you don't need to change the oil after a treatment, not sure how it would hurt getting into the oil. Sea Foam is good for some type deposits in the carburetor/fuel injector and combustion chamber. It doesn't have as much effect on ethanol water accumulation or the goo that results when the ethanol evaporates. I believe it is most effective when sprayed into the engine while running through the intake venturi of the carburetor(s).

I personally use Sea Foam in my vehicle from time to time. Does a fantastic job of cleaning it out and getting her to quiet down and run smoother.

I've heard some stories on the stuff where a vehicle wouldn't fire for the longest time. Owner sold it and the buyer drop a can of Sea Foam into the tank. After a few hits of the key, the vehicle fired up, rough at first and then after it idled for a little while, the buyer drove off in it.

Only time I would use it would be when you notice that the engine isn't running like normal or your gas mileage seems to drop off. Just tossing it in may be wasting your money. Just my opinion though.

I use it in my Valkyrie all the time.
With six carbs it gives me piece of mind that they won't gum up, when she sits between rides.

I too use Startron in my GL1800 '10 model. It only takes 1 ounce per 6 gallons so it's not that expensive. I've also use seafoam in my fuel to preserve it and Startron also has that ability. I have a Kawasaki Mule 550 and after years it started running rough. Poured 1/2 can of Seafoam in the fuel and drove it and it now runs like new. Had a shop overhaul the carburepepperpepperator on the Mule but it still ran rough. Seafoam cured the problem. As you might guess I'm sold on both these products.
