I must say most of you guys had me scared, i bought a stallion but had to wait two weeks to pickup, with all the bad talk on this forum i almost backed out and was going to ask for my money back all i heard was back on trailer, gets hot, cruise doesn't work, brake lights dont work and so on but i need to set the record WOW what super neat ride i have rode a harley for almost 25 years so i needed this to be as good and boy did it do that, we spent 9 hrs on this to get it home fuel mileage was always 38 mpg gobs of powers rode like a dream and all the way i was askin my self why i didnt buy one sooner so for all the people who are thinking about buying one GO FOR IT it beats any thing out there i rode honda and harley trikes before i bought and no way do they even come close to this ride, if anything we need to brag to others on how great this is. So on closing if you think you have to much wind or you are to hot and it always has problems go ride a harley this stallion is the cadlliac of rides.

Bob, glad you got your Stallion. I know it looks like everyone has problems with their Stallion's as I have some also. This forum is for everyone and it helps when you have someone else that has had the same problem as you so you can find out what they did to correct their problem. I like my Stallion and I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. I can see where you would think everyone has problems with their Stallion's but if you look in the other section of this forum you will see where everyone has problems with their ride and different people will reply what they did to get their problem fixed.

I agree. It is good to know what problems have come up to help us with the repairs. I have had a few problems with our Stallion but have been able to take care of them with the help of this forum and Richard at TMS.
We enjoy the Stallion and I can't get my wife to get on the Gold Wing anymore. She says the Stallion is more comfortable.

Bob,
Congratulations on your new Stallion. Problems are with all bikes, Harleys, and Gold Wings have them too. We have put 14,000 miles on our Stallion in three years, and yes we have had three or four things come up, but with the help of our friends on Trike Talk, and the people at MotorTrike, have found valuable information for the fixes. Go ride, have fun, it's a blast.

Hey Bob, welcome to the club! We are the few, the proud, the elite, the Stallion owners! The smallest segment of trike owners out there, but don't forget that you have a one of a kind, pleasure-mobile. Set it up the way you want, make it your ride, and get out there and ride, ride, and ride! Come on down to Daytona in January for the "Snowbird Reunion" we'd love to have you there, last year we had seven Stallions.

Hello Bob and welcome to the website from the U P of Michigan. Any machine with use needs repair. Some repairs you can expect after a certain duration, others creep up on you. I hope your new ride gives you many miles with lots of smiles. Ride safe.

I own a Stallion that was in a wreck. It took me some money and time to get it back in shape but I really enjoy it now. The only problem I have is the wind to the rider. Some one offers a set of wind deflectors that adhere to the outside opening down toward the front. they run about 250. If anyone has them I would like to know how they work.

Stallion,
My wife also had a problem with the wind in the back. At the annual Trike Talk Ralley I spoke to Tom G. who had a wind deflectors made by Amadyne Corp. We ordered a set of smoke tinted deflectors for our black Stallion. They look great and really help with the wind on her lower body.

Welcome to the NUT house! Like others have said there can be issues but thank God this forum is here. Trikers helping trikers!
I love this forum and hope that from time to time I can add my 3 cents worth for someone else having issues. Would I ever sale or trade this ride? NO WAY!
I rode for 12 1/2 hours getting my Stallion home after buying it and not too bad in the comfort department. I will be using a Walmart cushion pad for future long distance rides. Helps save the butt.

I have owned and ridden GL1100, GL1200, GL1500 and the GL1800. And none of them can compare to the comfort of the Stallion.

Ride Safe and Enjoy the Ride!

OK. I'm off to buy one!

Welcome to Stallion ownership. You will find that all Stallion owners will help with any item that pops up. You will get excellent service from all of the people at TBMS in Throup Texas. Yes Our Stallions are Different BUT what a ride.. Congrats on Joining the ranks of STALLION owners charlie D.

I just bought my Stallion yesterday!! I can't wait to ride it. I had a GL1800 Goldwing Trike, but have several health issues & was unable to ride it anymore. So, I'll be very happy to be riding again!! 👏😍

Very cool. Welcome Stallion owner. They really are the Cadillac's of trikes. I too have owned Harley trikes and have had many more issues than anything I deal with on the Stallion.

Speaking of help with Stallion issues, my brake pedal is sticking. Anyone had this issue? Where to lubricate?

Have fun with your Stallion. If you look under the trike where the brake peddle comes through the body you will see the pivot point. Clean with a spray then spray with an aerosol grease. work it in and you should be good to go.
