Holy test tubes, Batman, that's a lot of poking around! Glad they found the problem and we wish you a speedy recovery.
15 months, 13 alleged medical professionals plus an unknown number of others, 2 regular MRI's, 1 contrast MRI, a bone density scan, a CT scan. x-rays until I practically glow in the dark, a nerve block test, a nerve induction study, shots directly in the hip joint, 2 rounds of shots in the L5 nerve to finally find out I have a tear in the cartilage and bone spurs in the right hip joint. Now the doc is going to go in and clean this up but I can't put any weight at all on my right leg nor ride my scooters for 4 bloody weeks!! How are you supposed to deal with that? A hip replacement would put me on my feet much sooner! My wife is happy that the cause of all my pain has finally been identified and there's a fix, but I AM NOT A GOOD SICK PERSON and she may change her mind before I'm on my feet again.

A quick recovery from another 06 Rider.
Too bad in this day and age that doctors can't plug into our bodies and read the diagonistic codes like in our bikes. 10 years ago I was off the bike for 12 weeks after bypass surgery. It seemed like an eternity then, but thinking back I hardly remember it. You'll be fine.

Not sure if I have free time or I just forgot everything I was suppose to do.
Retired and highly recommend it.
Good luck on your recovery. Watch all the motorcycle movies you can. You'll be better in no time.

Thanks all. This thing has been a very frustrating experience for both myself and the wife. I won't bore everyone with the whole saga. There's several "doctors" who are going the get a personal and confidential letter informing them as to the correct diagnosis.
I teach medical assiting students and keep their heads spinning with information. What you just shared would completely empty their minds!!
Get well soon wishes for you. Keep those leg muscle's stretched for riding.
