I do like my bike but if I had to do it all over I would do the 1800 Champion with the IRS , solid is ok but on a bad road it will beat you like a red haired step child .

My ultimate Honda trike would be one designed and built by Honda from the ground up to be a trike. Nothing I've seen would beat that.

I agree 100%. It should be cheaper than buying a GL1800, throwing all the rear parts away and adding a conversion. Best of all it would be under warranty.

Not sure if I have free time or I just forgot everything I was suppose to do.
Retired and highly recommend it.
Mmm, ultimate, eh???

It'd be a front-wheel drive front section from a Honda CRX, Civic or Accord, 4 door model car. Yeah, that's right!!!

Cut the 4 door car behind the drivers door jam, remove all of the rear section and fab frame work for a single-sided rear tire (mmm..GL1800 swing arm?) and a FAT (8-10in. wide) rear tire with disc brake.

Now remove the roof but leave the front windshield and it's molding. Weld doors shut, use all stock interior equipment (automatic trans/stick, wipers, wiper washers, heater/AC, electric seats, sound system, door locks, seat belts) and all the stock front end equipment. Have a canopy made of canvas for those times that get ya wet (rain) that can be snapped on quickly (think Jeep).

Mmmmm, guess that's mostly it. A long range comfy auto-cycle for you and the other half. Probably cheaper than a NEW trike...ya think??
Still researching all the conversion kits, but definitely 2013 GL1800 wing, as for the kit, they are all pretty nice, will have to come back to that after reading more here! yep time to wake up!
This is the one I have my heart set on !!
I would love to have a biometric ignition switch on my trike - you know, like the new on-off switch for the iPhone 5S - fingerprint ignition. Come to think of it, the Prius V has something akin to that: you don't even have to take the key out of your pocket to unlock the doors and start her up. I believe they call it "near-field" technology.
I think I'll keep what I have

waiting for the 2014 honda goldwings to come out ....gonna trade my 2010 ultra glide for a new goldwing & go with the new motor trike conversion kit....I was told the motor trike kit is the best out there.....hope they are right..LOL...lots of my retirement money at stake here......hoping for some great colors also for the 2014's........
I like mine the best lol
I love my VTX 1800. Next best is a GL1800 with a Roadsmith.
Mine will be here early October. 2013 GW w/ airbag, red & CSC trike kit and all the options. Will post a pic as soon as I get it delivered!
