Hi, New here and new to trikes. Currently ride a 2010 Ultra CVO and considering a trike conversion. Any suggestions? Thanks from South West Louisiana...........

I'm the rookie at this but here's my 2cents. Shop on line and look at the options of the kits and how it will suit your riding and your bike. You want it to satisfy your wants and needs. Others here with tech knowledge will better guide you also as they see your thread.

As has already been said, do your homework (that was a lot of fun for me!) and find a kit that fits your needs and price range (IRS vs straight axle, etc). Some conversions can be done yourself, others require an installer. If you choose to use an installer, find one you are comfortable with and is reputable.<br />

look at the frankenstein kit. its made in ks. & is well made with a-lot of options. best i've seen. local shop here has done several & those riders are pleased with them.be careful who you use as a shipper. .one guy on here has a dropped kit & wasn't pleased with the shippers excuses. nothing wrong with the manu.

Cowboy, take a short trip into Troup Texas to TBMS &amp; Motortrike and see how they manufacture and install and paint at their plant. Ask for Jeff or Jr. they will give you a tour of the entire process and you can ask any questioins your heart desires. From there you can make a more informed decision. Any mfr, that wont let you tour their facility should be eliminated from your consideration. Have been to Troup several times an was extremely happy,, IMHO. Welcome from Southern Indiana! Research is huge on getting the conversion kit you like and suits your needs. You may run across a built trike that you may like better. Just gotta do some homework on all the possibilities. Any company that does conversions should be checked out and you should ask for a tour if possible. Best to see how they do conversions. Also, look through the forums and ask questions on specific kits if you have any. A lot of people on these forums who can give you information or direction to get it.

Welcome. My 2010 CVO Ultra is being converted with a Hannigan this month. Just forwarded the side cover to them to ensure color match. Not all manufactures are set up to paint Screamin Eagle colors/graphics so do your homework.
