September 11 is a day I will never forget!
And to every fire-fighter and police officer out there: Thank you for your willingness and self sacrificing care of all of us! and I pray with all my heart that none of you ever have to face another 9/11 event!
Amen to that:
Thanks for the post... I saw on another board where they asked what U were doing.. It is so interesting that everyone can remember so well what they were doing at the exact time of the bombing...
Cathy and I were sitting on the couch having our morning coffee, we had good morning america on (as usual). Cathy looked up and saw the planes hitting the WTC and she asked me if I had changed channels. I told her no and that is when Charlie Gibson came on telling everyone what was going on.
What a sad day for a lot of families.
So many people did a great job in trying to help. Firemen, Policemen, Military and the other people on scene...

I was just slowly getting going for the morning for it was my off day. Saw it on the news, put on the uniform and went to work. Luckily the response was not necessary here in Florida.
