Hi I'm a new member. My wife and I are in the planning stage of building our trike. We are going with a 2014 Ultra limited and a CSC conversion. Hopefully in 3months or less we will be riding.

If anyone has words of wisdom to share while we are still planning and building stage, it would be much appreciated

Thanks

You're going to love your CSC conversion! Make sure you get the EZ Steer triple trees, and think about the adjustable preload for the rear spring. My advice is to use a mechanical, rather than electric reverse; Champion, Baker and Motor Trike all offer mechanical reverse units.
Have fun with your build!

Welcome to Trike Talk, I owned a 2005 Goldwing with the CSC kit and It was an outstanding trike. That kit will be great on your Harley.
Thanks Rick!

I would look into the Hog Halter raked triple trees. There is an add you can click on at the right side of the forum, I installed them on mine and the quality is excellent at half the cost of the ez-steer system.

There is another trike talk member who has a whole lot of trike savvy named American Badass, He also always seems ready to help out if asked.
He has certainly helped me out!
