engine fans for Triglide

We were at the Western TT Rally and saw a Triglide with 2 small fans on aa switch for on/off to cool the engine. It was located on the left side of the engine. Does anyone have info on this? I googled it but could not find it and the owner could not remember the manufacturer. Thank you.

I have them on my Tri Glide and I do not feel any more heat when they are running. They do work and work well.

I have them on mine and they really make a difference...seem pretty sturdy too...they are working as well today as they were before we left on the Alaska trip.

What I like about them is they deal with the heat at the source, not after the fact like an oil cooler.

I have them on my Ultra Classic (soon to be transferred to my Tri Glide) along with an oil temperature gauge. When you turn them on, you can actually see the temperature drop.
The heat does not blow on your leg unless you place your leg a certain way. You'll find out where to move your leg when the fans are on.
I would DEFINITELY buy the fans.

Tip:

The temperature sensor should be mounted in the motor fins on the right side. This will keep the fans from short cycling when you turn the bike off.

If mounted on the left side you will find the air from the fans will cool down the sensor, turn the fans off then the sensor will warm back up and turn the fans back on. This short cycling (restart) of the fan motors are hard on them.

Been running the Lenale fan on my 2011 for the last two years. Also have oil temp gauge. Fan plugs right into my acc switch and I just flip the switch on when in town traffic. This has worked great for me, and I like the looks of the fan. Just my .02 cents worth.

I bought the Wards Fans this summer. I like the way they perform, but i get hot air on my right calf. This is probably because i have short legs and are in the air flow. - Russ

Fans installed. Rode at 85 mph on an 80* dy. temp would've been 270-280...never got above 240. Also, when I got off the highway into my subdivision and slowed to 25-30...the temp never moved up...so far..so good!

yes there is a fan noise when they run but while you are riding they cannot be heard.
in the garage yes while the bike is off..
