Looks like you're logged in Older Guy! Welcome! It does sometimes tell me that I can't log in, however it logs me in either way. Might be an issue with the wrong page coming up after logging in.

Welcome to TT! I almost never log out on my home computer. On the one at work (And I only get on TT during my breaks and lunch. Yeah, that's it.) I log in and it shows me a box that tellm me there is an invalid redirect. I click on "Forum" at the top of the page and all is well. The powers that be have our work computers set so we get logged out when we close a page or the page times out. Have to go through it all next time I come back at work. (Which is only on my breaks or at lunch. Really!:Angel
