Went on our first good ride last night after the stage one upgrade was completed by our dealer on Friday. Weather in the Houston area was cool enough for a light jacket. Bike ran great and everything was good until we got stuck in slow moving traffic for about 25 minutes. After about 10 minutes of just barely moving it appeared the engine was getting hotter that normal and I was getting enough heat on my legs where it was uncomfortable. My wife was getting less heat on the back than she did before the V&H power duals and mufflers. I did not think too much about it until today when I remembered reading about the EITMS feature. I checked and found that the mechanic had disabled the EITMS when he did the stage one upgrade with the SE super tuner. I enabled the EITMS and hope this was what was causing the heat issue when idling. Now, can someone tell me when if ever the EITMS should be disabled. It appears to me that it should be enabled all of the time to keep the engine cooler when idling.
