The Official Highjacked Thread. Highjacking encouraged.

That's the person who stocks the shelves they don't check dates on product. The manager should 'Spot Check' shelves every so often. It's easy to stock shelves, you pull old product and place the new behind the old and then check to make sure the old stuff isn't expired, dust the shelves and product. Many times I'll spot check items as I go down the aisles putting returns away and straightening shelves. One of the items I find are broken light bulbs in the hardware aisle, empty boxes with missing product or one missing from the package.
Just this week alone between tins and bags of cookies that were from 2015 about 40 units.

I worked in a grocery store when I was a teenager. They would have seriously called a store meeting over something like that. Even though she reacted the way she did, I can guarantee nothing was said to the stock crew. The whole store is run by kids barely out of their teens that just don't care. And it's not going to fail because it's a well rooted neighborhood store, and the people that live close don't want it to fail because it's so much more convenient as opposed to going to walmart. I'm kind of included in that. I'll just check things a little closer from now on.

Went to Sam's Club a while back and got a 24 pack of yogurt. About half way through them, I noticed that they expired 10 days after we bought them.

The big scam!

When it was first proposed to put dates on products, All the manufactures fought tooth and nail against it.... Now they realize it's a big money maker for them, People throw away perfectly good stuff because of some arbitrary date... It's not going to explode just because it's a few days past the stamped date... Its a good thing they don't put dates on people when their born......

If this one goes, there WON'T be another. I'll live life alone (with my TG).

I am a widower, tried living alone for 6 months just isn't the same. The dog just looks at you ! At first your friends feel for your loss for a month or two, then that gets old. They feed ya , visit, just to make sure your past that 3 month period of hanging yourself.
Then the only excitement of waving to Mrs. Jones across the street is the day's excitement.
The bottom line for me , as much as a PIA your woman is, they still fill in that void you need. Being lonely happens more often than you would amagine. Hope and pray no one has to go threw it. yes that is how I feel.
